AVN and XRCO Director of the Year Axel Braun has completed principal photography for the upcoming epic parody “Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody”. The movie is a joint production between Vivid Entertainment, the world’s leading adult film studio, and Axel Braun Productions and will be distributed by Vivid in the fall.
X-Play’s planned 3D mega parody production of The Wizard of Oz is in jeopardy due to another company’s quick plans to put out a cheap version of the classic 1939 MGM movie and beat X-Play’s release date.

Rezervior Doggs has been heralded as one of the most genuine porn parodies every made. It is certainly true to the original. Everything from the script to the costuming is dead on. Even the music is about as close to Tarantino-esque as adult can offer. Of course some tweaking had to take place to turn a decidedly male cast into a female one and the bloodbath into a cum fest.
The horror film parodies are always tricky. How exactly do you spoof a bloodbath in an industry that treats on-screen violence like the Hantavirus? In this Axel Braun parody, they do it with tongue firmly implanted in cheek and the result is a lot of great laughs. Fans of the original movie will love the special effects and the story. Evan Stone is so good in the Bill Murray role that you can almost hear scripts for “This Ain’t Stripes XXX” and “The Official Caddyshack Porn Parody” being written right now. He is funny, handles the sex scenes well and makes the movie work. Raven Alexis is just as good as Dana and probably should have had more than just one sex scene.
For those of you who think that porn parodies are something new, let me introduce you to Jim Powers. For years, this man has been making some of the best raunch on the market, usually for next to nothing. This DVD features two brand new Powers’ parody scenes and two pulled from the archives. Those are probably from the Perverted Stories series and kind of interesting.
