Since I have only been on a few big porn sets, I still look forward to seeing how something comes out on film after I have sat through it live. Being on the set of Jane Waters’ “The Pornographer” was a lot of fun and I had another reason for wanting to see this movie. I have been dying to see Jasmin St. Claire get the shit fucked out of her by Tom Byron. The movie is a little different, actually calling itself a hard-core documentary, this is part feature, part behind the scenes and all Extreme. With the whole team on board, Waters sets out to give us all a closer look at adult movie making, Rob Black style. Anyone familiar with the Hostile Takeover will know going in, that this is bound to be a bumpy ride.
We open on a hillside in sunny SoCal with the film crew trekking up a hill to get the scene. Director Rob Black, camera guy Van Damage and stud Tom Byron exchange some rather amusing and self parodying dialog. As new star Lizzy Borden gets herself ready, Tom gives script girl Tiffany Mynx an earful. You have to give Rob credit for having a sense of humor about himself, seeming to revel in his bad boy image. Big titted blonde Lizzy is more than happy to give her all for her chosen craft. Their banter is sometimes funny, but not nearly as funny as the following phone rant between Rob and Jane Waters. The behind the scenes footage is often interesting and the story, though often disjointed, is entertaining. Some of the dialog is totally hilarious and Waters should be applauded for trying something like this. If your looking for something a little out of the ordinary, “The Pornographer” is an ambitious, worth while effort. If all you want to do is beat off, watch Tiffany, then watch Jasmin, then watch Tiffany one more time.
