It’s not every day I review of movie that has already been given an award for being the best film of he year. At the AVN awards in January, director Nic Cramer collected his second consecutive award for the top adult film for “Looker”. (He won last year for ‘Operation Sex Siege’) This time, he has cast of American and European women that are a mix of porn legend and hot Euro-babes in this story of lust, intrigue and hot bods. Cramer’s knack for making great films on DVD is well documented with Penetrator 2 and Clockwork Orgy, two of my favorites. Will this one impress me as much as those two? Is ‘Looker’ as good as advertised? How many questions can I ask in an open before actually starting a movie? (Pray we never find out the answer to that one.)
Vince Voyeur plays the lead, a detective on the edge. We open with Vince stealing some files from an unsolved case his father tried to crack years ago. From this ominous open, we cut to an alley where a short haired woman (Lauren Montgomery) is teaming with Ian Daniels and Steve Hatcher to turn up the heat. You know, both Cramer and writer Martin Brimmer seem to have a thing for starting movies in alleys. (OK, I can think of only one other time when they did this, but hey, a pattern is pattern when you’re reviewing a mystery.) The woman on the receiving end of this double boning is pretty well put together and shows above average heat especially when Ian fucks her hard as Hatcher jerks off next to her face. Nice double pop in her mouth to close out a pretty nice opener. Well nice for us, the two guys end up with their throats slit. (That will teach them that foreplay does matter.)
Vince and his partner, Shanna McCullough get called in on the case. He is more than ready to leave the city, except for he secret, unsolved business. His strange behavior does not escape his partner’s sharp eye, but he’s not letting her know what’s really bugging him. (And he’s also sneaking swigs off a bottle in hopes of dulling the pain.) At home, as he battles with old demons and a full bottle, Vince drifts off into a dreamland filled with sexual heat. He is back in the diner, this time snacking on Ericka Bella’s Eruro-vag while Shanna plays along with the busty brunette. With Shanna as our narrator we go back to the night he was killed. You see, the police were protecting the prostitutes and taking payment for their services out in trade. Hakan and Mickey G. are in the process of collecting from the incredible Silvia Saint. I swear this woman has one of the most perfect bodies ever known to man and if those lips weren’t made for cocksucking, I don’t know what they were made for. All the film making aspects are in line in this film. The script, courtesy of Martin Brimmer, is tight, smart and just involved enough to keep people interested. The lighting, sets, camera angles and all those filmatic elements are as good as you will see in porn. Vince and Shanna do a very good job handling their roles as well as their sex scenes. Oh yeah, the sex. Shanna is great in her two scenes, but it is the Eruo-babes who steal the spotlight in this film. Silvia Saint and Ericka Bella give scenes that are blistering. While I won’t put it above Clockwork as my favorite Cramer film, but ‘Looker’ is a winner, through and through.
