Pirate video has been the arm of the Private family that seems determined to always keep us guessing. Frank Thring takes the helm for this three part, kink filled sex romp. With the Pirate label one of the more inconsistent in the Private family, Thring is at least, a good bet to put this tape in the better pile. As usual, this Thring effort appears from the box, to have more than a taste of fetish appeal to it.
Thring starts off the first story by warning Dru Barrymore not to stay in the garden past five o’clock. When she fails to heed his warning, the sexy blonde immediately starts seeing things. Of course, since her hallucinations are of a couple, (Vanda and an uncredited stud.) in the middle of a high energy fuck, going mad with her doesn’t seem like such a bad thing. Vanda has on bright blue knee high boots and some sort of bodice/lace skirt number. (Eruo-fashions. I’ll never get them.) After some great close ups during the RCA, Vanda takes a healthy dose on her face. After watching him rub it in for a while, Dru flees back to the house.
In the house, she finds a less attractive, Carmen, decked out in leather, with two men licking her boots. While the action isn’t bad, I’m starting to get a little pissed that the one woman I really WANT to see fuck is still sitting on the sidelines. Inside, they are treated with great hospitality, which may have more to do with the fact that the guy is drooling over Dru than any sense of human kindness, but who cares, so long as the blonde gets buck-ass soon. The side by side oral action is by far the best thing thus far in this video, even if we still go slo-mo at times. For me, it was certainly less than that. Only about half the women live up to the high standards set by Private, and while the sex is generally well above average it’s hard to tell what Thring is going for here. When Vivid or Wicked uses the soft, slow motion effects during sex, it’s to set a mood and sometimes it works. Here, it just gets in the way of hot, hard sex. What’s the point? Let the sex drive the movie. Even with the sub-par cast, that alone might have really helped. As it is, this is a marginally recommended video at best. Thank Dru for that.
