Cam Girl Cast and Director Reveal the Trust, Boundaries and Relentless Takes Behind Holly Randall and Stripchat Feature
EMMReport brings together four perspectives from the making of Cam Girl, with stars Alana Rey, Sally Dinosaur and Codey Steele joining director Jeff John Hart to describe how trust, boundaries and performance shaped the Holly Randall and Stripchat production. Rey’s participation became central to the film after she initially hesitated over what the project would require. Once she made it clear that she didn’t do collaborations, Hart reworked the planned scene around a solo webcam performance. “A model tells you a boundary, and that’s it,” Hart says, while Rey recalls being told, “Do whatever you do on your show, whatever you feel comfortable with.” The story also took Rey back to the Colombian neighborhood where she grew up and began her early webcam shows, an experience she calls “a little bit therapeutic” and one that deepened her connection to the character and the film.
