Celebrate Memorial Day with Killroy at Corbin Bowl Blowout

 
(Hollywood, CA) Memorial Day Weekend is almost here, and the best way to celebrate is with multi-award-winning, prolific director and old-school punk rock bassist Jim Powers (aka Jim Lane) and his punk rock band Killroy. This Sunday, May 24th, they’re part of a blowout event at the Bar 10 at Corbin Bowl.
 
Sponsored by PBR, The Punk Rock No-Tap Smash Bowling Show is a music festival with a bowling tournament, and it’s the talk of The Valley. Seven bands are ready to bring the anarchy to Bar 10 at Corbin Bowl, including Killroy. Jim Lane, Tom De Spain, Eric Troop, and Doug Polito are ready to party like it’s 1984—they’ll play their classic tracks and new material. Other acts on the bill are Sloppy Seconds, The Freeze, Pulley, Guilty by Association, The Afraid, and Color TV.
 
“Sure, you could have a BBQ, but that’s boring. Come to the Corbin Bowl before the XRCOs in Hollywood—we play at 6:45pm. Watch us rip it up on stage, slam dance, and enjoy some PBR,” says Jim Powers.
