The 8-second rule is a key safety feature for all the Cosmic Kittens at the Alien Cathouse. While the buttons are inconspicuous, their presence is crucial, and all the staff are trained in emergency procedures. All the girls know where they’re located in the room and are trained on how to use them. If they feel uncomfortable, threatened, or in an emergency, they quickly and quietly press the button. The button is silent, so the client(s) are unaware that an alert has been triggered, but it prevents the situation from escalating further. Once the button is pushed, an alarm sounds in the security office, and security is immediately dispatched to the room, arriving in literally 8 seconds. A manager is also called in for support and handles any follow-up support.
“We go above and beyond what the other brothels do. We want our girls to always feel safe. If they feel anything is even the least bit off, they can leave the room, come get us, or push the panic button. Safety is number one, and it’s the ladies’ house—you’re in their territory,” says Owner Ray.
