RIP Senator Kennedy
America Loses an Icon
Look I’m not going to sit here and pretend that I was a huge fan of Ted Kennedy. That would be as disrespectful as me ranting on about why I wasn’t a big fan. The fact is, America lost an icon last night. For better or worse Ted Kennedy has been a lighting rod in American politics for decades. There will be countless pieces written about him in the days to come. Many will trumpet his accomplishments and the way he bravely fought for causes he believed in. Many others will try to tear him down and demonize him for things he did wrong (both political and personal, some real and some whipped up for the masses) and in the end a family has lost a loved on and America has lost one of its most passionate and recognizable statesmen.
Rest in Peace Senator Kennedy.
