Readers Weigh In

As one would expect, the Marc Wallice story and open invitation for an interview has elicited some reader response. I would still love to hear from Marc or from someone at TT’s company. I think we would all love to hear their side of the story. Well some people would. There are plenty of people who don’t need to hear the other side. What they know is more than enough for them to want Wallice out of porn and to call for a boycott of all products made by any company that employs him. Below are two pieces of email I got on the subject. Thank you for your contributions and as always I remain open for any feedback or thoughts on this situation.

First I got this information from someone who wished to remain anonymous.

They Who Shall Not Be Named Writes:

Rog-Marc Wallice never left! A few years ago, I saw a screencap from a BTS where he was spraying Tera Patrick with a spray bottle of water!
Obviously, he was being employed as crew.

That is certainly an interesting development. I’d love to see that cap sometimes. I wonder if it was on a Vivid shoot or something more recent from her Teravision days. Either way, we might want to extend that invitation to people at either Vivid or Teravision to find out what they think about hiring Marc to work with talent.

Les is never one to hold back and he has a very strong opinion on the situation. Here is it.

Les Writes:

Rog: here’s my two cents on the Mark Wallice controversy. If he wants to be in a position of authority in the porn industry he needs to do two things. First, come clean about the faked aids test and tell his side of the story. If he admits to faking the test than he’s out of any positon that includes working with talent. I have no problem with him editing, working in the warehouse or office, or even being a sales rep. But if he lied about the test he can’t be trusted to protect the health of performers on a set..
Second, if he did lie about the test he needs to publicly apologize the performers who became infected due to his actions. Several lives were ruined in that debacle and someone needs to take responsibility. It’s human nature to protect ones reputation and occupation, even if it takes lying to do so. Because of that I judge people on their action, not their words, And to date, Mark Wallice has done nothing that makes me think he’s innocent of what people have said he’s done.
Should people with violent sex convictions should be allowed to work in the adult industry? Hell no! People change and improve, I admit this. But, being forgiven for past actions (or doing time for same), does not exempt you from the consequences of your actions. Again, put them in the warehouse or editing room but not in a position of authority over some of the teenagers that are entering the industry.
But then, I think the minimum age for performeres should be raised to 21, so I know I’m way outside the norm for porn fans. Thanks for good work, enjoy your site more and more.
Regards, Les

Thank you again for the feedback Les. I can always count on you for a well thought out take on something like this. You are right, Marc has yet to address the situation. We have all heard plenty of things about it, but no from him. It would be nice to have both sides of the story, assuming of course there is another side. Perhaps we already have all the facts and know all that there is to know. We will see if anything new develops.
