Adult and Mainstream Agency Black Widow Talent Receives License from State
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. Black Widow Talent received its talent agency license from the state, becoming one of four agents in the adult industry recognized by the California Department of Industrial Relations.
Founded and operated by former mainstream Hollywood agent and Black Widow Productions President Ric Williams, Black Widow Talent represents the adult and mainstream interests of its clientele. Its roster includes Lexi Lamour and Demi Delia, as well as representing Wicked Pictures exclusives Stormy Daniels and Randy Spears for non-adult work.
The agency also named veteran performers Lamour and Ethan Cage as partners to concentrate on adult talent bookings; Williams will focus on placing his clients in mainstream projects.
“As adult moves more and more into the mainstream, agencies that are registered by the state of California — as well as bonded to the letter of the law — help to ensure producers and performers are working with ethical and sound agents,” Williams said. “Black Widow Talent receiving a go-ahead from the state means that the agency and myself passed a rigorous and intensive background check.”
Williams added that as the convergence of adult and mainstream entertainment continues, his experience gives Black Widow Talent a unique position to bring X-rated performers to the attention of producers on the other side of the Hollywood Hills.
“Adult performers have substantial fan bases and name recognition that brings interest to adult-oriented mainstream productions,” Williams said.
Black Widow Talent will also sponsor the Wank Punter: The Before & After Party, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Tangerine, 8788 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, Calif. to celebrate the launch of the agency.
