JOONE’S “PIRATES” TAKES 4 MORE TOP AWARDS
Joone’s blockbuster adult movie, Pirates brought in 4 major awards at The Temptation Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday night. It was named 2006 Best Picture of the Year and Best High Definition DVD. Tommy Gunn was named Best Supporting Actor for the second time for his role as Captain Victor Stagnetti in the film. Pirates also landed Digital Playground Founder, Joone a 3rd trophy for Best Director. With 36 trophies to date, Pirates is the most awarded adult title in history.

In May, Pirates became the first adult movie to successfully crossover, receiving an R-Rating from the MPAA and worldwide mainstream distribution. On July 11th, Digital Playground’s R-rated Pirates DVD became available to wholesale buyers exclusively through MTI. To date, Joone’s Pirates is available in Blockbuster, Best Buy and Albertsons.
