After several weeks, the Fan Faves polls finally come down to 7 more days of head to head voting.
The Bisexual Britni express could not be stopped by Aurora Snow this weekend and BB coasted into the finals. Her opponent was a bit of a surprise as Jenna Haze rather handily defeated last year’s champion Jenna Jameson. So I had it right all along, Britni will face Jenna in the finals, just not the Jenna I expected.
Lexington Steele defeated Erik Everhard to advance into the finals once again this year. Lex nearly had a rematch of last year’s finals with Peter North on his hands, but instead faces Rocco Siffredi in a battle of the titans for the top male performer spot.
Taylor Rain and Ashley Blue square off in the finals for Best Newbie. This is one award that hasn’t really stirred a lot of interest in any direction. With the truly impressive rookies like Avy Scott, Ashton Moore and Cameron out of the picture I would have guessed that Jodie Moore, Judy Star or even Shyla would have been in the finals. Instead we have two solid, but not exactly household name rookies to take us home.
Jules Jordan as advanced to defend his Best Director crown, fending of John Stagliano to set up a rematch of last year’s finals with Rocco Siffredi. Rocco won by less than a percentage point over Vince Vouyer. It’s the first of two direct rematchs in this year’s finals.
The other direct rematch pits Anabolic vs. Evil Angel for Best Company. Anabolic fended off Wicked while Evil Angel won a tighter match up with Red Light District to set up the rematch.
We nearly had another Britney Spears vs. Jennifer Love Hewitt finals for Most Wanted Celebrity, but Christina Aguilera snuck in there instead. The two pop Princesses will go head to head to see if Christina and take Britney’s crown.
