Alex Sanders has been making movies for a long time, for a number of companies and nothing has ever quite clicked. He’s just recently signed a deal with Mayhem, but I’m sure if that means that this young girl line will be put on the shelf or not. I think the biggest problem I have with this movie is that it never quite finds a rhythm. Some people get bored with the same thing over and over again, but there is a certain comfort that comes from knowing what type of movie you’re watching. Is this a pro-am effort with little interviews? Is it a pigtails an plaid flick? The tease footage is good in some scenes, not so good in others. Buffy’s scene is hurt because she just doesn’t have much of a spark. Amy theist’s scene just feels like it drags. So this movie starts out good, gets better with scene two and peaks in the middle. After that, it’s hit and miss so feel free to lose a load for Aurora and then take a long nap.
