Squirt.org Puts Over 25 Years of Cruising Spots on the Map

New Places Map pairs Squirt’s member-built library of cruising locations with live Check Ins, so guys can see what’s nearby and where other members are headed.

TORONTO, ON — October 27, 2026 — Squirt.org, the global gay cruising and hookup platform for men, has launched an interactive Places Map that shows members the cruising spots around them and which ones other guys have checked in to.

In an era of endless swiping, Squirt is making it easier for guys to get off their screens and meet in person. The new Places Map helps bridge the gap between finding someone online and knowing where to go to make a real-world connection.

Until now, members found spots by reading through individual listings. The new map shows exactly where those spots are, whether members are looking nearby or searching another city. They can also filter by type of spot, from bars, clubs and saunas to beaches, parks and gyms.

Squirt’s members have been adding cruising locations to the platform for more than 25 years. Check Ins gave members a way to share when they’re at one of those spots. The Places Map brings both into one view, so members can see at a glance which spots nearby are getting attention right now, taking the guesswork out of where to go to meet guys in person.

“The best connections happen in person, and that’s what Squirt has always been about,” said Rob Fisher, Director of Product Development and Customer Success. “Our new Places Map makes it easier for guys to find nearby hot spots, see who’s checked in, and know where the action is. Less time searching, more time connecting. That’s what we want for our members.”

Check Ins are always optional. Members choose when to check in to a Place, and their Check In stays visible for one hour. Members can also check in up to an hour ahead of time to let others know they’re on the way.

The Places Map is available now to all Squirt members on the Squirt app and at Squirt.org.
