Jessica Van of MintStars Is this Week’s Guest on Adult Site Broker Talk

Jessica Van Meir of MintStars is this week’s guest on Adult Site Broker Talk .
Jessica Van Meir is a co-founder of MintStars, a fansite and payments platform
serving adult content creators and built around giving them greater control over
their income and content.

She is also completing a PhD in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School,
with research centered on the rights of sex workers in Latin America.
Her work in the field also includes co-founding the Boston Sex Workers and
Allies Collective, which supports full sex work decriminalization in
Massachusetts.

Before MintStars was established, Van Meir worked with a feminist law firm
representing victims in matters involving sexual harassment, sex trafficking, and
image-based sexual abuse.

MintStars provides adult creators with a range of content and payment services,
including subscriptions, tipping, chat, and a content marketplace. Creators are
not charged platform fees, while the service also includes chargeback
protections, immediate payouts, and fewer content restrictions.

The company has now established a program that gives content creators a 20%
ownership stake in MintStars. Under the co-ownership structure, creators can
earn a share of profits through their contributions to the platform.

A separate payments venture, MintCash, has also been spun off by Van Meir’s
MintStars co-founder. MintCash provides pay-ins, treasury, and payouts through
one system for businesses that may otherwise face higher processing costs or
difficulty obtaining payment services.
