Studio Vanniall Brings Boi Hunter to Pornfilmfestival Berlin for Two Screenings

(Los Angeles, CA / October 2, 2026) – Studio Vanniall’s Boi Hunter: Fox has been selected for the 2026 Pornfilmfestival Berlin, with two screenings scheduled as part of the festival’s Trans Porn Shorts program October 21 and 25.

Directed by Vanniall and Ashley Lake, the 15-minute festival cut puts a T4T spin on the classic pick-up porn trope, centering trans chemistry, desire and the thrill of being seen and wanted. It’s a selection from the first episode in Studio Vanniall’s Boi Hunter series, which will release through the course of the year and culminate in a DVD. Fox’s film will screen Wednesday, October 21 at 9:30 PM at Moviemento, followed by a second screening Sunday, October 25 at 4 PM at Babylon Kreuzberg.

“Berlin has been one of those festivals I’ve most wanted Boi Hunter to reach, so seeing it programmed twice in Trans Porn Shorts feels incredibly special,” said Vanniall. “The film plays with something very familiar and turns it into something specifically ours. We had a lot of fun playing fictionalized versions of ourselves as amateur pornographers, which felt like a love letter to myself a decade ago. I’m excited for audiences in Berlin to finally see it.”

Pornfilmfestival Berlin has presented independent, queer and sexually progressive cinema since 2006, with this year’s Trans Porn Shorts program bringing together films exploring trans desire, everyday realities, fantasy and T4T connection. This is Studio Vanniall’s second screening at PFFBerlin, having previously featured Transit, co-starring Jiz Lee at the festival, which is available alongside Boi Hunter as part of the studiovanniall.com launch slate.

“Boi Hunter: Fox was a ton of fun to film, something intentionally lofi amongst our much higher production launch lineup” said Ashley Lake, the cinematographer. “This first episode has a grungy country cruising feel mixed with some of our decidedly European influences on styling, nodding to some of our favorite source material in this genre. We can’t help our narrative impulses, though, so keep an eye on Studio Vanniall to see these budding pornographers grow, acquire better gear through dubious means, and get in some over the top trouble. After all, we plotted this out for a DVD!”

The Boi Hunter DVD will collect one of several Studio Vanniall launch series, each with their first episodes available now to tease and excite fans. Those include the already announced Cockwife Next Door and Dickgirl After Dark, joining DVD launch titles The MostlyPics House Season One and Cruising For Girlcock, already fully available for streaming online.
