(Hollywood, CA) Multi-award-winning French Canadian adult director and writer Ricky Greenwood, along with his casts and crews, dominated the XMAs, winning both awards and receiving recognition for acting, scene work, writing, editing, and art direction.
The 2026 XMAs were hosted by Violet Myers and Kazumi at the world-famous Hollywood Palladium. It was a star-studded red carpet and a packed house. Ricky Greenwood won the two top prizes of the night again—Best Picture for Digital Playground’s “Deadly Vows” and Director of the Year — Body of Work (Narrative).
Ryan Reid took home the award for Best Lead Actor for her role in Digital Playground’s “Deadly Vows,” which she trained hard for.
Two scenes he directed also took home top honors. Digital Playground’s “The Holdup” starring Anna Claire Clouds, Mikey Star, Scott Nails, and Van Wylde scored the Best Sex Scene – Comedy Movie trophy. Parasited’s “The Parasite Queen” starring Tommy Pistol, Blake Blossom, Lexi Lore, Melody Marks, Little Puck, and Hailey Rose won Best Sex Scene – Orgy/Group (Male-Led).
Ricky’s crews are some of the best in the industry, and they also took top honors at the XMAs. Shawn Alff scored another Best Screenplay award for Dorcel’s “Strip.” Boris Dongson, Steve McQueef, and Mz Montage received the Best Editing award for DP’s “Deadly Vows.” And Andy Appleton and Kylie Ireland took home the Best Art Direction trophy for “Deadly Vows.”
“I was thrilled to win Best Picture and Director of the Year again. I really didn’t think I would. All my projects this year were passion projects—it’s rewarding, but awards don’t always follow. I’m honored that XBIZ chose to give me these two awards, and also recognize my cast and crews,” says Ricky Greenwood.
