MixedX Drops an Emotional Bombshell with Used By You
(Los Angeles, CA / January 25, 2026) – MixedX sets off a chain reaction of betrayal and consequence with Used By You, a dark and emotionally shattering drama about forbidden love and the fallout that follows when a secret can no longer be contained.
Written and directed by Zsolt Abraham, Used By You begins just after Christmas, when Angelica Heart returns home to find her stepdaughter Lia Lin emotionally shattered. Lia’s confession, that she has been secretly involved for years with Christina, Angelica’s long-term partner, turns the house into the center of a three-way emotional implosion. As heartbreak hardens into rage and guilt collides with desire, all three women are forced to confront what they have done and what they are about to lose, in a reckoning where no one escapes unchanged.
“Used By You is about what happens after the secret comes out, when there is no way to put the world back the way it was,” said Abraham. “I wanted to explore that moment where love turns into shock, shock turns into anger, and anger turns into something far more dangerous. This story lives in the silence between characters, in the looks they cannot hide anymore. It is not about who is right or wrong, but about how betrayal changes people forever.”
