That shift extended beyond the set. “At the beginning, my focus was simple – work hard, earn, and prove myself,” James noted. “Now I’m thinking long-term. I’m building my paid platforms and creating income streams that offer stability over time.”
James is clear-eyed about representation and its role in her career. “I don’t rely on my agency to create my career. That’s my responsibility,” she said. “What I value is protection, experience and having people who handle the backend so I can show up prepared and confident.”
