Chloe Amour Reflects on Career Journey in CanvasRebel Feature
(Los Angeles, CA / August 15, 2025) – Chloe Amour opens up about her path in the adult industry in a new interview for CanvasRebel, sharing a candid look at her beginnings, hiatus, and return to performing.
Recruited into the industry at 22 after shooting for Playboy Plus, Amour says she “figured, I’m already naked on the internet. I didn’t think having sex on camera was a big deal. I was very free-spirited.” Her early years were spent working full-time across mainstream productions, cam shows, feature dancing, private content creation, and traveling the world for shoots. “My agencies always treated me as a top priority,” she recalls. “I’ve graced many magazine covers and DVD box covers, been a multi-award nominee, and experienced so many firsts on camera that I never did in my personal life.”
Her career took a planned pause in 2019 that unexpectedly stretched to five years, due in part to the pandemic and a serious relationship. In July 2023, she decided to return. “I’m most proud of being brave enough to even do porn and stick with it. This is a choice where I felt there’s no turning back,” she says. Since then, she’s embraced more on-camera “firsts” while focusing on authenticity and connection with her audience: “When the camera is on, I turn into Chloe Amour. I feel like it’s important to my fans to get a taste of my personality as they watch my scenes.”
Amour also reflects on lessons learned, from navigating shifting casting categories to valuing timing in career choices: “In porn world, once you start hitting your mid to late 20s, the way you get casted changes… You always have the choice to say yes or no to what jobs you take and want to be casted as.”
For her, the most rewarding part of the work is the independence it offers: “I didn’t have to have a college degree to bring in the type of income that I do. Your income is truly based on the efforts you put into your work and how much you’re working… It’s nice to be able to make your own schedule.”
