Lia Lin Reflects on Her Evolution From Model to Award-Winning Performer

From international modeling to adult entertainment, immersive VR, and acting, Lia Lin continues to build a career on her own terms.
(HOLLYWOOD, CA) Before becoming an internationally recognized adult performer, Lia Lin was already building a career in front of the camera. Her journey began in commercial modeling and took her across multiple countries before eventually leading her into adult entertainment, where she has continued evolving as a performer while expanding into acting and the Virtual Reality space.
Today, Lia Lin is an international performer known for award-winning lesbian-themed performances and a career spanning adult entertainment, immersive VR, and acting.
Lia’s path to the adult industry was anything but conventional. Born in Brazil to a Filipino-Brazilian father and Russian mother, Lin spent significant portions of her life in Russia and later worked internationally as a commercial model. Her modeling career included fashion, jewelry, and makeup campaigns, giving her years of experience working in front of the camera before she began exploring adult entertainment. That background has allowed Lin to move beyond simply being in front of the camera and develop a distinctive approach to performance.
Lin has also gravitated toward productions that allow for a more cinematic or emotional approach. Her lead role in Lia’s Big Stepfamily placed her in a large-scale production alongside legendary performer and director Rocco Siffredi, with Lin describing the experience as challenging, detailed, and ultimately fun.
Her career has since expanded into a wide range of formats, including productions for major international studios and immersive VR projects. Her VR credits include main character roles in Stepdaddy’s Girl from DarkRoomVR, Coax with Strokes and Committed Thruple from Badoink, and Czech VR 670 from MentalPass. Her work in the format earned her a 2026 AVN Award nomination for Best VR One-on-One Sex Scene.
Lin’s achievements have also earned major industry recognition, including her 2025 AVN Award win for Best International All-Girl Sex Scene for headlining What is Love and her 2024 XBIZ Europa Award win for Best Sex Scene – Lesbian for A Shadow in the Room (Hentaied). She has accumulated additional AVN and XBIZ nominations throughout her career, including recognition for international performance, acting, and VR work.
“When I look back at how I started, I’m proud of how much I’ve grown, not just as a performer but as a person,” said Lia. “I’ve had the opportunity to work with amazing people, experience different kinds of productions, and discover new sides of myself along the way. I’m still learning, and I don’t feel like I’ve reached my destination yet. I want to keep challenging myself, exploring new opportunities in VR and acting, and seeing how far I can take my career. There are still so many things I want to try, and I’m excited about what comes next.”
Away from performing, Lin brings an unusually diverse background to her career. She earned a degree in Marketology in 2019 and has previously worked in areas including translation and IT. Her education has proven useful as she has developed her own public profile and social media presence, giving her an understanding of branding and how to present herself as both a performer and a creator.
For Lin, that evolution has been a consistent theme from the beginning: learning, experimenting, and seeing where the next opportunity leads. That willingness to try something new has taken her from international modeling to award-winning performances, major productions, VR, and an emerging interest in acting. The next chapter of Lia Lin’s career is already underway.
