On SQ Dating, Squirt has introduced Places, a brand-new feature built entirely from scratch for the app. Places lets members share where they are, or where they’ll be within the hour, at public spots like bars, gyms, parks, and beaches. Rather than dealing with the delays of “who swiped back” Places helps members find out who’s already nearby and available, making it easier to turn a match into a real time meetup.

On Squirt.org, the platform has completely rebuilt its Cruising Listings, its cornerstone feature for more than 20 years. The new experience is faster and fully responsive across desktop and mobile browsers, and adds real-time check-ins so members can instantly signal they’ve arrived at a spot, or flag plans to be there later in the day. Every listing now shows who’s currently checked in, and members can browse active check-ins within a 45-mile radius across hundreds of thousands of member-submitted locations worldwide.
