Claudia Ross Vies For Two Key NightMoves Awards
(TAMPA, Fla. / July 21, 2026) — Acclaimed adult filmmaker Claudia Ross is proud to announce that she has been honored with two key nominations at the 2026 NightMoves Awards, Best Feature Director and Best Feature Film for the atmospheric thriller, Through Her Lens.
The Elegant Angel feature, which stars Octavia Red, earned a rave review from XBIZ in January, an Editor’s Choice review from AVN in April, and in May, Ross took home three trophies for Through Her Lens at Italy’s DSN Awards, marking a major career milestone for the Italian-born director/writer/editor.

The online voting period for the 34th annual NightMoves Awards runs until September 1, with only vote allowed per IP address. To be counted, a ballot must have votes in at least six categories.

Founded in 1988 and distributed throughout Central Florida, NightMoves Magazine is the longest-running regional adult publication in the U.S., and it has hosted its annual adult entertainment awards since 1993. It is the original “fan based” show, and the first to employ internet voting.
The 2026 NightMoves Awards show caps a weekend of activities in Tampa Bay that kicks off on Wednesday, October 7. The awards show unfolds on Sunday, October 11 at The Stockyard in Holiday, FL.

Award-winning adult filmmaker Claudia Ross, the daughter of the late director Ugo Ross, has a connection to the adult industry that is both deeply personal and professional. She grew up with adult cinema in her DNA, sharing a rare distinction with industry legend Axel Braun: both are Italian-born, second-generation adult directors who inherited a legacy, learned the craft from the inside, and carved out their own creative identities behind the camera.
