EXP/EXQUISITE MULTIMEDIA HIRES NEW PUBLICIST
EXP/EXQUISITE MULTIMEDIA have recently hired publicist Mitzi Connett, formerly with Elegant Angel Productions, as Director of Publicity for this fast growing company.
Owner Alex Estrada and General Manager Tony B. met Connett and felt she would be the right person for the job. Mitzi has had several offers to represent individuals as well as other companies since her departure from Elegant Angel, but hadn’t felt as though the right opportunity had shown itself, until meeting with Alex and Tony.
“I wasn’t sure that I would find another company that I wanted to work with in the industry again after leaving Elegant Angel.” said Connett. “But when I met Alex and Tony, I realized that this was a great company with a lot of potential. There is so much excitement in the office, you get a really good feeling when you walk in, and that feeling stays with you long after you leave. It feels like one big family, and that is the kind of atmosphere that I’ve been looking for in a company.”
Connett and Elegant Angel amicably parted ways this past summer, and she still has fond memories of working there. “I wish Patrick Collins and Elegant Angel the best always. It was a great company to work for. I feel that we are, and always will, remain good friends.” recalls Mitzi.
Alex Estrada and his partner Tony B., owners of EXQUISITE MULTIMEDIA bought the Exquisite Pleasures catalog in early 2002. At that time, the company also signed on other directors starting with Max Hardcore (“Max World”), Tyce Bune (“Dusk Til’ Dawn Productions”), Justin Slayer (“Justin Slayer Productions”), Rodney Moore (“RodnieVision”), and Venom (“Venom Digital Media”), each of whom exclusively direct and produce their own films. The company has also been producing their own titles under their own EXQUISITE MULTIMEDIA moniker.
During the AEE show in Las Vegas this month, EXP MULTIMEDIA also signed a deal with “Luke”, former front man for the infamous rap group “2 Live Crew”. Luke will be hosting as well as performing in a new series directed by Justin Slayer called “Uncle Luke’s Fuck Shop”.
“There is such a great buzz going on at EXP.”, says Connett. “They have an incredible line-up of talented directors, great movies, and fantastic box covers. They also have big plans coming up for the future. It’s going to be a lot of fun (and hard work!) being with a company with so much energy, and I’m really looking forward to it! This is definitely the company to keep your eye on, and I feel honored to be part of their family.”
