MixedX Blurs Dream, Desire and Reality in Possessed by You
(Los Angeles, CA / May 22 2026) – MixedX turns a psychiatrist’s dream into a waking nightmare with Possessed by You, a cold and unsettling psychological drama where fantasy, fear and identity begin to collapse into one another.
Directed by Zsolt Abraham, Possessed by You follows psychiatrist Clémence Audiard, whose vivid dream of a mysterious woman leaves her shaken. When panicked patient Leya Desantis arrives the next day, Clémence recognizes her as the woman from the dream, only to discover Leya has been dreaming of her too. As the session slips into something stranger, both women are pulled into a seductive psychological space where neither knows who is awake, who is in control or who is imagining whom.
“Possessed by You is about the fear of losing ownership of your own mind,” said Abraham. “I wanted to explore that fragile moment when desire feels like a message from somewhere else, and reality starts to behave like a dream that no longer belongs to you. Clémence and Leya bring a beautiful tension to the story because both characters are searching for answers, but the deeper they go, the less certain they become of themselves.”
