Director Wrex Oliver Earns Multiple XMA Award Nominations for His Popular Adult Parodies

(LOS ANGELES, Calif. / December 24, 2025) — Versatile adult filmmaker Wrex Oliver is enjoying a breakout year, with the awards season signaling the ascent of a new king of adult parodies.

His 2026 XMA award nominations from XBIZ, in acknowledgment of his outstanding output over the past year, include nods for the “Addams Family” parody, Wednesday; his outrageous gender reversal on the comedy blockbuster, “Step Brothers,” titled Step Sisters; as well as his debut gay feature, Sexerance (SayUncle) — a surreal, erotic twist on the lauded Apple TV series, “Severance.”

“I’m incredibly proud to see my work recognized by XBIZ, and I am so very grateful to all the talented people, in front of and behind the cameras, who made these movies into reality,” the director shared.
