VCA PICTURES WINS BIG AT ‘ADAM FILM WORLD’ AWARDS
‘BEST MOVIE’, ‘BEST DIRECTOR’ & ‘BEST DVD’ VICTORIES PROVIDE SERIOUS 1-2-3 PUNCH
HOLLYWOOD, CA ” VCA Pictures was thrilled when they heard the news that they were big winners at the just announced Adam Film World’s ‘Excellence in Adult Entertainment’ which pays published tribute to the top achievers in the adult movie entertainment industry over the past year.
VCA Pictures received the three top awards in the categories of ‘Best Movie’, ‘Best Director’ and ‘Best DVD’.
The venerable company received the coveted award for ‘Best Movie’ for their futuristic ‘Café Flesh’ #3, a movie about nuclear holocaust where the survivors are forced to have sex on network television in an effort to stimulate the population.
The movie directed by Antonio Passolini was doubly praised as it also earned the ‘Best Director’ nod from Adam Film World which called it ‘A superb tour-de-force’.
VCA Pictures was not quite finished as they also picked up the award for ‘Best DVD’ for their musically inspired ‘Misty Beethoven, The Musical’ which was a glorious re-make of the Henry Paris original and offered as a three DVD set.
“We’re excited and honored to share these awards with Veronica Hart and with Antonio Passolini, two incredibly creative people”, stated VCA Pictures’ up of sales Peter Reynolds. “We’re very happy to hear this great news because we’re doing some exciting things here at VCA Pictures and this is a great way for us to dive into spring”, Reynolds continued.
VCA Pictures and their edgy VCA Excessive label have been busy creating a new line-up of talent and scoring big with a string of exciting hits from a new crop of up and coming directors including Eon McKai, Will Ryder, Dez and proven veterans such as Jon Dough.
Titles such as ‘Kill Girl Kill’ and the popular ‘Britney Rears’ have given the new look VCA Pictures a solid launching pad on which to build for the future.
