3000th DVD Review
That’s a Lot of Porn
About a month ago the 3000th DVD review went up on my site. That number included compilations and guest reviews. Later today however I will officially join the 3000 DVD review club. Exact stats are pretty tough, but I would say that I’m the third guy to reach that milestone on the web. Den from www.CAVR.com have over 22K reviews and half of those must be DVDs. XCritic’s Houston Don has 3766 and we should assume that most of his are DVDs. 3000 of my 5000+ are now DVDs. Wow, that’s a lot of porn. (By the way, AdultDVDTalk.com’s Astroknight is about 200 shy of the mark.)
Note: In case it doesn’t show, the following is my attempt at a tongue in cheek hall of fame speech. There are sincere thank yous here, but it’s supposed to be funny.
I was pretty shocked when I looked at my own numbers are realized that I have done nearly 1000 more DVDs than VHS. I had a huge head start in that format and continued to review VHS until just over a year ago. The funny thing is that I can still remember review number 100. That was almost 5000 reviews ago.
I want to thank all of you for reading over the years. Without your support and input I never would have kept doing this for so long. Big thanks to my webmasters how keep the site running, the sponsors who have been great, the companies who have helped with screeners and access to hot women (for interviews) and to all of the other critics who provide constant inspiration.) And of course the biggest thanks still goes to Mrs. Rog because without her love and support none of this would have been possible.
For the 3000th review I am doing Pirates 2: Stagnetti’s Revenge. It will be up later tonight.
