Adam & Eve Exclusive Star Carmen Luvana Named XRCO’s Best New Starlet
Century City, California ” Carmen Luvana, the spicy, Puerto Rican born Adam & Eve star, was named Starlet (New Female Star) of the Year last night in an industry-only event in California hosted by the X-Rated Critics Organization.
“I am very excited to be named Starlet of the Year by the X-Rated Critics Organization,” said a flattered Luvana after the award show last night. “It’s an honor because of all the stars who have won this award before me and because of the recognition of what I have accomplished by the people [X-Rated Critics Organization] who know what’s good.”
Luvana signed a deal in February with Adam & Eve to be an exclusive star for the company. Two of the eight movies she is scheduled to be filmed as the star of this year, Carmen: Stripped and Rawhide, have already been filmed. In fact, Rawhide finished filming only last weekend. It has been a busy couple of weeks for the petite bombshell.
“The last few weeks have been crazy busy,” said Luvana. “But it’s so much fun that I don’t even mind it. I know that all this hard work will pay off because I have a solid company backing me and my career. I’m striving to be the best I can be and it’s an honor to be recognized for my work.”
Luvana’s website, CarmenLuvana.com, also recently launched. Users can expect to find photos, movie clips and Carmen’s exclusive web cam on the site. Also, the site will offer behind the scenes photos and movies from Carmen’s shoots with updates from Rawhide soon to be added.
“As I’ve said before, we are very excited to work with someone like Carmen,” said Bob Christian, director of Adam & Eve Productions. “She’s obviously very talented and the industry is just now starting to get a look at what’s possible for her. It’s a very fortunate position we’re in.”
Carmen’s first film with Adam & Eve, Carmen: Stripped, will be released to the public in June.
Luvana will continue her media blitz, with a special appearance on Playboy radio this afternoon. Playboy radio can be heard on the XM Radio Network.
