Blog: For a Sunday

Still Hot, 21 & Email

Still Hot: Wow, it’s only mid-May and it’s already close to 100 around here. It’s tough to get too hyped up about sitting around with a laptop watching porn when it’s this hot. I’d head for the beach, but I can only imagine the crowds down there. Instead I’m going to stock up on cold beverages, camp out and watch some Erik Everhard POV porn, Pink Visual IR porn and maybe review a new website as well. Just another lovely Sunday afternoon around here.

Eye Candy: OK, chalk this one up to a great fantasy. Imagine hiring Annette Schwarz as your nanny. Yeah that should get you going.

Blu-Ray Vs. Computer Porn: I have posed the question of porn on Blu-Ray before. There has been a little bit of feedback on the forum. (Yes folks there is a Forum on this site. Go register and talk.) It looks like at least some of you are choosing “none of the above” when presented with a Blu-Ray or Download option. Imagine that. Someone who actually thinks that porn on DVD is just fine. I have enjoyed the Blu-Ray DVDs I have reviewed so far and I love my mainstream flicks on BR. I also enjoy the ease and privacy of porn on the web. VOD, downloadable scenes, photo-intensive web sites are all great. I personally love DVDs though. I love the quality and the ability to have a movie on a shelf as part of a collection. The Blu-Ray quality is great, but I’m still not sure we want to see your basic Red Light District flick in high def. I’m still waiting to see when Jules Jordan, Evil Angel and some of the other big gonzo companies will join the Blu-Ray ranks. I’m sure we will have more to say on this as it develops.

Eye Candy: Busty Brandy Taylore gets down and dirty at work. Sometimes it ain’t so bad at work.

Political Stew: It seems that my note on Dr. Dean’s obvious flub has riled up a few folks. My good friend Tod Hunter sent me an email containing links to a couple of nutter articles ripping the idea that Gore brought Willie Horton into the 1988 campaign. I always appreciate Tod’s input and respect his knowledge and his take on the issues. On the other hand, these sources are Johnny-come-lately pieces attacking whatever talk radio people are bringing up this issue. Of course I’m not using those guys at sources (just as I wouldn’t use the whacky lefty sites pointed out in Tod’s email.) I actually remember it from the 1988 campaign and later books/interviews/articles. Rather than listening to Slate or MediaMatters doing hit pieces on talk radio folks, how about using Bill Bradley, Susan Estrich or the Book “Al Gore: A User’s Manual” (A book about Gore written by left wing critics of Gore) instead? Back to the original issue though. Dr. Dean is wrong. For him to say that his party does not and has never used the politics of race is absurd. He was trying to paint one party as spot free and innocent in racial politics and I pointed out just one example of how he is wrong or lying. No amount of whining by Slate.com or political bile from MediaMatters changes that simple fact. Oh and by the way, Willie Horton did rape and murder while out on a furlough program. He wasn’t a bad guy because he’s black. He was a bad guy because he was a rapist and a murderer. Debating the legitimacy of letting violent felons out of jail is somehow off limits? Yeah, that makes sense.
