I will do a full report in the morning, but here are some quick notes.
– Huge night for Belladonna, Evil Angel, John Stagliano, Fashionistas, Rocco, Erik Everhard & Jules Jordan.
– I got to talk on the red carpet with Dave Michaels of JizzBiz TV and Luke Ford of…who knows where he’s writing these days.
– Mari Possa was there, looking really hot. Don’t be shocked if she is nominated for a few awards at next year’s show.
– Tom Zupko was on hand with Veronica Cain by his side. We talked for a while and guess what folks…she’s back. Good news for booty lovers.
– Layla Jade was dressed in a really hot little number and was one of the more popular stars as she posed for pictures all over the place. We had a chance to chat and even laugh at some fun internet shit that has come up lately. (Note to people- Not every offer you read in interviews ends up coming to pass.)
– Jenna Haze had on a little outfit that really turned heads. She told me that her web site should be up soon and that she really wanted no part of internet fueds and the like.
– Jewel De’Nyle was the mistress of cermonies and she did a nice job moving things right along. Of course, I wasn’t asked to present again this year so I just sat at the back sipping on Diet Coke and marking my scorecard.
– Belladonna was the really big winner of the night, taking home 4 awards including Best Female Performer. Evil Angel’s “The Fashionistas” took home 7, including best director for John Stagliano (body of work) and Best Film.
– Auora Snow showed up with a very cute friend and collected one award, for Best Threeway sex scene with Jules Jordan and Gague. Sadly she left before we could discuss what was later described to me as my “obsession” with Aurora that apparently is being talked about by “everyone in the business.” (Rog says, quoting an unnamed source who provided him with the information. Why do I doubt that everyone in the industry would give a crap enough to discuss me at any length.)
– I set up a lunch/beer/interview session for sometime next week with Erik Everhard, Mike John and Lexington Steele. We should have plenty to talk about. Everhard took home the Best Male Performer of the Year and gave me the best quote of the night (Best on the record quote that is.) when he said “This is my first real award.” Excuse me Everhard, what about that Rog Award you got back in January. I see how it is, big timing me already.
– Hey, what contract girl actually had her contract run out recently? Let’s just say that she is sitting there as a free agent while her company tries to put together a deal. Will she move or stay put? We’ll have to see.
– And afterwards…..some heated words, some threats, a whole lot of stuff to transcribe and some stuff to talk about later.
