Only 11 Months of Shopping Until Christmas
New Stuff: I’m still working on the AEE full blogs, but I’ve added quite a bit of stuff to the site since returning home. I’ll hit some of it here. A lot of this stuff could use some feedback. I need to know what you guys want to see so I can shape the site a bit. So take a look and let me know what you think. Let Savana know what you think of her stuff, take a look at the toy reviews and all that. Oh and don’t forget. You have exactly 11 months of shopping until Christmas.

New Gallery: I’m back from Vegas and that means some photos from the 2008 AEE show. You can find the whole collection in the 2008 AEE Gallery. There aren’t as many as I would have liked, but I did that best I could. I actually had my camera go missing for most of a day before it turned up in the lost and found. I’m looking to add some captions so take a look at the gallery and if you come up with some clever caption, shoot it over. I’ll throw it up there.

Pirates Still Winning Awards: It’s been two years and the Pirates juggernaut still can’t be stopped. I’m actually shocked that Pirates 2 hasn’t already been given some special “pre-award” award for the most anticipated adult sequel to a porno pirate movie ever. At the 25th annual AVN Awards, Pirates once again walked away with the “Top Selling Title of the Year” trophy. This was a repeat win for the monster hit in this category and marks the first time ever that a movie had won back to back. Think about that for a second. That means that Pirates was the best selling adult movie for 2007 after being the best selling adult movie for 2006. The win adds a 14th AVN trophy to the already record setting total brought in by Pirates. It really doesn’t get much bigger than that.
Paul Fishbein, President of AVN says, “Since its inception and release nearly two and a half years ago, ‘Pirates’ has been a phenomenon in both sales and marketing, and has raised the bar for all adult features. Since we changed the criteria for the awards in 2000, never before has any title received the Top Selling Title accolade more than one consecutive year. I am very pleased with this movie’s success and the positive light it has shown on the entire industry. ‘Pirates’ has been such a huge phenomenon since it came out nearly two and a half years ago, that nothing about this film surprises me anymore. The way the film continues to sell the way it does today is absolutely incredible!”
“Pirates” recently made its Blu-ray(TM) debut on January 11th and is now available for the first time in full HD 1080p.
