Club Jenna Receives 52 AVN Award Nominations

Janine Loves Jenna & I Dream of Jenna 2 Score Big

It is once again the time of year when adult movie companies tout their huge award nomination totals. Club Jenna can certainly be proud of their lofty total this year. They brought in a whopping 52 noms. Their duo of “Janine Loves Jenna” and “I Dream of Jenna 2” (Both are good, or so I hear. I’m still on the Club Jenna shit list.) combined to garner 21 of the 52. Jenna Jameson herself grabbed four nominations including one for Best Actress, Video. Justin Sterling picked up 9 noms, including Best Director, Video for “Janine Loves Jenna.” (The same movie that earned Jenna her Best Actress nom.)

“We’re really excited to be recognized by AVN with the group of nominations our titles received” said CJI President Jay Grdina. “It’s been an extremely busy and evolutionary year for us at CJI, and we’re very honored to be recognized along with our directors, crew, and performers for all the work everyone put into our movies!”

Jenna received an even bigger honor when AVN officially named the Crossover Star of the Year after her. She won the award in 2006 and 2007 so it will bear her name for all future winners.

“After my long career and many milestones in the adult world, this feels like a beautiful cherry on my sundae,” said Ms. Jameson. “Thanks to AVN for being so monumental in my career and Club Jenna‘s ascent. I am excited to see who will be taking home the first Jenna Jameson Award.”

The 25th Annual AVN Awards will take place January 12, 2008 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV.
