Monday Morning, Reader Mail & the LA City Council is Insane

Happy Monday: Time to start another work week. I actually spent most of the weekend working on the site. Oh the joys of wireless internet, a laptop and enough televised sports to choke Annette Schwarz. (As if that were possible.) In between watching the USC game, the Yankees/Red Sox game and at least a dozen other sports broadcasts, I managed to sneak in some porn reviews. In case you missed it, I reviewed Robby D’s latest Handheld title Filth Comes First. It is quite a movie with some great tease mixed with filthy sex. Renae Cruz turns in a great scene, but there is one that you guys just have to see. If you don’t buy or rent the DVD, use some of your VOD minutes to watch the Bree Olson scene. She’s signed with Adam & Eve so we should all be watching for her final gonzo scenes. This one is fucking great. It is one of her best, one of the best Robby has ever shot and one of the best scenes of 2007. That wasn’t the only good title of the weekend though. Mike John’s latest Peep Show was really good. He did a great job of working with a cast that isn’t as outwardly impressive as some we have seen. Mike also tossed in a bit of tease, proving that he can shoot just about anything he wants. I still say he shoots the best pure stroke movies in the business. In addition to reviewing movies I did some work on interviews and started a couple of web site reviews. Look for Jenna Haze, Nautica Thorn and Shay Jordan interviews sometime in the next few days. I’m still wondering if you guys are downloading the audio interviews. Am I giving you what want on those? Let me know what you think.

Eye Candy: Everyone needs to have some fun and what could be more fun than fucking a totally hot maid while she cleans your house?

Reader Email: I got one response to the blog over the weekend, so here it is.

Les Writes:

Rog: just finished reading you rant on Keith Obelmann and only have one thing to say: RIGHT ON! I’ve lost all respect for most of the politicians both state and local, but have entered a state of complete disdain for the mainstream press. I don’t watch national tv news and haven’t in years.. I’m capable of reading and understanding the days events with out being told what it means by some overpaid haircut reading a teleprompter. The left of center media is so frightened of Fox News, and talk radio’s success that they are willing to say or do anything to marginalize it in today’s society. Whether you agree with them or not, their success proves without a shadow of a doubt that they are reaching a lot of people who agree with, or like what they hear and see.

I don’t watch a lot of porn anymore, but read your web site daily. It’s one of the few places I can find well written, intelligent libertarian viewpoints anymore. Keep up the great work friend, we need more like you on the web.

P.S.: I don;t know if you watched So You Think You Can Dance, but Mary Murphy (one of the judges) looks just like Kaci Starr’s older sister. Coincidence? If there were more girls that looked like Kaci in porn I might watch more.

Well thank you very much for reading and for the kind words. I respect Olbermann’s right to say whatever he wants, but when he says that somehow Fox New is as harmful to society as the KKK, someone has to point out that he’s either incredibly stupid or just blathering on get attention. (He does the latter quite well.) I don’t watch Fox News very often, but after years of having the mainstream media dominated by one side of the debate it seems that Rupert has angered a lot of people. It’s still what 7 to 1 on cable and network news? What is everyone complaining about? Turn the freaking channel or better yet, watch a little of everything and do your own thinking. Is it that tough? Thanks again for reading. I don’t know how many people consider my stuff “well written” or “intelligent” but I appreciate it. Hopefully the libertarian ideas and the “logical moderate” position will catch on. Finally, I did watch a few episodes of “So You Think” and didn’t put two and two together. I knew that Mary Murphy was hot and looked like someone, but couldn’t put my finger on it. Now that you point it out…duh, so obvious. Good call.

Eye Candy: I’ve been on a Bree Olson kick lately. Here is a great gallery of the lovely blonde from Twistys.com

LA City Council Done Lost Their Mind: Sometimes these stories are just too freaking bizarre to be made up. It seems out good friends on the Los Angeles City Council are up to their old tricks again. That’s right, the nanny-state mentality has apparently moved past cigarettes, guns, alcohol, pot and porn. Now they’re after McMeals and have decided to experiment with the poor folks who just don’t seem to know enough to look after themselves. According to the story…

Officials in Los Angeles are proposing to limit new fast-food restaurants as part of a new “health zoning” plan. The Los Angeles City Council will consider a possible two-year moratorium on new fast-food restaurants in South L.A. The city defines fast-food restaurants as those that sell food to eat there or to take out and have a limited menu, items prepared in advance or heated quickly, no table orders and disposable wrapping or containers. “The people don’t want them, but when they don’t have any other options, they may gravitate to what’s there,” said Councilwoman Jan Perry, who proposed the ordinance in June. A Los Angeles Times analysis of the city’s 8,200 restaurants found that the South Los Angeles area has the highest concentration of fast-food eateries compared to other areas such as Westside, downtown or Hollywood, and it also has far fewer grocery stores. Thirty percent of adults in South L.A. are obese, compared with 20.9 percent in the county overall, according to a county Department of Public Health study released in April. Other cities already regulate fast-food restaurants in certain areas, including Berkeley and Arcata, Calif. In other areas of the country, Port Jefferson, N.Y.; Concord, Mass.; and Calistoga, Calif., ban fast-food restaurants in certain districts entirely.

Where to begin? First of all, note that “South LA” is what the LACC now calls an area more commonly known as South Central. They aren’t targeting the west side or the Valley for this kind of nanny state control. Is it because they need it more or because they already have the least clout and won’t speak up? At any rate, this kind of crap has to be stopped. I’m not stupid, I know that fast food isn’t especially good for me. I choose to eat it too often for my own good, but dammit, that’s MY choice to make. It doesn’t belong to some yahoo on the City Council and I’m not about to turn that kind of power over to ANY politician. People have to have the right to choose that which may be bad for them. I believe that about drinking, smoking and eating French fries. Leave it to the LA City Council to restrict equal business opportunities. They have singled out one kind of business because they think it’s bad for the people of South LA. What’s next? I shudder to think. Does this bother anyone else?

Eye Candy: I also have a Gianna thing and here she is waking up a lucky guy with a blowjob for MySistersHotFriend.com
