Mike Ramone Director, Funeral Protestors and Interview Flood

With/Without Story Feature: I don’t know how many of you have seen recent releases from Smash Pictures, but they have a new feature that is kind of interesting. I just reviewed their latest movie Registered Nurse and this title can be viewed either with or without the “story.” They do this in movies that have mostly set ups rather than a single scripted story. When I review the movies I always turn on the story so I can cover that part. I wonder how you feel about that. Is this a feature you enjoy on DVDs? Are you looking for set up and story or do you watch these movies in sex only mode? While we’re at it how about another open question. Which “bonus features” do you like the best? Which ones add value to you a DVD and which ones are a total waste? The floor is yours.

Eye Candy: The weather is heating up and Sammy enjoys some fun in the sun.

Reader Email: A few days ago I asked if anyone knew the origin of the term “cougar” and of course someone came up with the answer quickly.

Craig Writes

Hey Rog, According to the ‘Urban Dictionary” online, one of the definitions is:
Cougar

(see also hunt, prowl, corner, pounce). Noun. A 35+ year old female who is on the “hunt” for a much younger, energetic, willing-to-do-anything male. The cougar can frequently be seen in a padded bra, cleavage exposed, propped up against a swanky bar in San Francisco (or other cities)waiting, watching, calculating; gearing up to sink her claws into an innocent young and strapping buck who happens to cross her path. “Man is cougar’s number one prey”

Thank you Craig. That was pretty much what I figured. It just seems like an odd term. Why no lion or tiger or some other cat. At any rate, now we know. I still like Cougar better than MILF.

Eye Candy: Speaking of Cougars, here is a gallery that features a mature woman doing what cougars do best.

Mike Ramone Former AVN Managing Editor Mike Ramone has already found a new gig. According to the story on AVN.com, he is shooting movies for Robert Hill Releasing. Though a good portion of the RHR catalog focuses on transsexual action, they also shoot plenty of straight porn as well. Most recently they have been the home for Skeeter Kerkove’s unique brand of smut. Apparently Mike’s new movie has a bridal theme so that should be a lot of fun. I wouldn’t imagine I’ll be getting a copy to review from the company, but I’ll keep an eye out for that one and Skeeter’s titles at my local video store. It should be interesting to see what Mike can do. As a critic, you always get the “if you think you can do better” stuff and now he has his chance to shoot the kind of movie he probably wished he could review while at AVN. I wish Mike a lot of luck. It will be very interesting to see what he comes up with.

Eye Candy: Some girls just don’t know when they are seriously outnumbered. Carmi is on the short end of a 15 to 1 ratio.

Funeral Protesters: So they arrested some crazy dick head who planned to blow up protesters at Falwell’s funeral. Wow, that is a scary nutbar. I hope they put that guy in jail for a long time. Though they didn’t deserve to be blown up, those people protesting the funeral are worthy of at least some scorn though. Why? Because it’s just classless and stupid to protest at someone’s funeral. The person you hate is dead. DEAD. He or she can’t hear you and whatever you believe, is beyond caring about your silly protest. All you are doing is hurting their family and rubbing your hated in their face. To what end? What political point is SO important that you would actually want to be hurtful to someone’s grandchild? Seriously guys. Every single person there protesting is every bit as vile as those dickheads who follow the “Rev” Phelps and his GodHatesF**g crew. It’s an across the board thing. Protesting at funerals is fucked up. Don’t do it.

Eye Candy: Want something not fucked up? How about Nautica Thorn looking awesome and playing with herself.
