Worst Movie of the Year: Final Thoughts
Countdown to Vegas: I’ve only got about 24 hours left until I take off for Vegas. It’s the yearly trek that I’ve made every January since 1989. Wow, nineteen years of this thing. That’s a whole lot of trips to the desert. I’ve got some good interviews already lined up including my usual run through the lines at Digital Playground and Anabolic. I’ve got a lovely assistant to help me pass out the award trophies as well. The fan faves already been decided and that critic’s choice picks will be announced on Wednesday. I’ll be doing it live again this from the Daily Noise studios at 10am. Most of the winners will be on the floor, but I invite all of you to tune into see who will walk away with the trophies. I don’t know if I will have email over there, but if anyone needs to contact me, give me a call. I’ll have my cell.
Eye Candy: Speaking of trophy winners, Monica Sweetheart won the Fan Fave for Best Female a few years ago. She looks so good.
Worst Movie of the Year: Final Nominees: OK, let’s finish off this worst movie of the year talk. I gave nine movies in 2006 F’s. One of them was an anime and another was a comp. Let’s toss those aside and get to the seven real stinkers. Just recently I watched Andrew Blake’s Valentia and wow was it horrible. It was nominated as Best Film by AVN, but I honestly don’t see what they saw in it. It was horrible. Just bad on a different level was Prom Team. This flick was packed with super hot girls and had a sexy premise. It was about prom queens having sexual nightmares about the guys who they rejected in school. The problem with the movie was that it was a compete quag-fest and a waste of great talent. In that same vein was a Tony T flick called Sore Throat. I liked some other titles from Original and Tony, but this one is just a hideous example of the worst in porn these days. (That means that some of you are going to just love it.) The same can be said about Down the Hatch 19. It’s just a total waste of a great cast and a bit of an insult to the audience that has stood by Anabolic and Diabolic for years. Some movies weren’t bad only because they focus on the ugliest side of porn. Metro has been doing these bad gang bang movies for years and they may have finally hit rock bottom with World’s Oldest Gang Bang. It is a total train wreck. The cast is unattractive, the movie is poorly edited and they don’t have nearly enough people to even do a gang bang. What a huge mess. I don’t think that anyone is going to find that movie appealing at all. Perhaps some people were surprised when I blasted Strap-On Asian Bitches, but it just wasn’t as fun as it should be. Of course when it comes to truly bad movies, it would be impossible to forget Eon McKai’s complete turd bag Neu Wave Hookers. How bad was it? I think I ran through the entire thesaurus when I reviewed it almost a year ago. So which stinkers get the honor of being nominated? How many should I nominate? How about we go with an even ten?

NFL Playoffs: Wow, there were some exciting games over the weekend. The end of that Dallas game was insane. Tony Romo, hero to goat in one play. But how close was he to actually making a first down on that play? Wouldn’t have been the kicker? You know, it would be easier to discuss the pro games if I weren’t in total shock watching the BCS game. Where did this come from? Ohio State looked so unbeatable. Florida is just taking them apart. Hats off to the Gators, what a game. I hope they send a thank you card to UCLA though. Without the Bruins punking USC, the Gators would have been watching the title game from home. Wow, college football hasn’t even been over for an hour and already I’m looking forward to more.
