Darling Girls Productions Changes Hands

Wanting to focus his energies on the relaunch of Extreme Associates, Extreme company president Rob Black has announced the sale of Darling Girls Productions to long-time industry veteran Jeff Krull. Krull, whose career in adult has spanned over two decades, including stints as the Director of Wholesale and Licensing for Adam & Eve and Head of Sales for Jill Kelly Productions, said he is totally excited by the move and has already taken over day-to-day operations.

“This is a unique opportunity for me,” Krull said. “I have been looking for the right situation for over a year. Darling Girls is positioned for rapid growth. With my background of growing companies, I jumped at the opportunity Rob Black presented me with.”

At Adam & Eve, Krull produced over three hundred movies and built Adam & Eve Wholesale from scratch. He also raised over $1 million in investment capital for Jill Kelly Productions and developed Maximum Grind brand into 125 titles and $2 million in revenue its first year, licensing all over the world, including a toy line in Europe.

According to Black, because of Krull’s background and his willingness to keep Darling Girls moving in the direction Evolution Erotica started, Krull was the best suitor among many offers he had received.

“Because we are focusing on the expansion of Extreme Associates and getting back to the basics of hardcore pornography, I didn’t feel Darling Girls was getting the attention and tender loving care it needed,” Black said. “With Jeff’s track record of developing businesses in the adult markets and his success in the cable and couples markets, he was the obvious choice.”

Krull said that Darling Girls has a strong title base, with series such as College Cuties, Anal Cuties, Dirty Girls, Clinic Sex, and over twenty new movies not yet released,

“We want to focus on branding going into the Show Season,” Krull continued. “I plan on having a minimum of four releases a month, as well as making content available for numerous other content distribution outlets.”

“The sale of Darling Girls is further proof that we are streamlining operations and getting back to what we do best,” said Black. “Extreme has big plans for 2007. This is just the beginning.”
