2013 Football Pick Em: Week One
The NFL season kicked off last week and so too did another year of RogReviews.com Football Pick Em. For those don’t play fantasy football, this is a way to have a little fun. It’s simple. Players pick games based on actual betting lines and score points for each win. No money on the line, but there are prizes. It is not too late to join. Just follow the sign up instructions below.
This is a straight up betting pool with no money on the line. Each week players pick the NFL games with the spread. Winning picks earn two points and ties are worth one. The player with the most points at the end of the season will win. We are still looking for some special prizes to the winner. If anyone has any ideas, (Maybe a custom video clip or a fan picture or something) let me know.
The early lead this year goes to FetishDirector and to Bono, both with 19. That’s 9 correct picks and one draw for those of you keeping score at home. Early season scoring is close with the bottom teams all lumped in 11 points. Five players forgot to make their picks, giving them a whopping zero. Where are you Ivan and Dick Fitswell?
Looking over the numbers, there wasn’t a single game we all got right. Only Hunter Cornell missed the Seattle/Carolina game. On the other end of spectrum only Aly Sinclair picked Oakland to cover vs. the Colts. But the big one, we ALL missed the San Diego Houston game. Big donut for us all.
