CHATSWORTH, CA: BRANDON IRON, Owner/Director/Performer distributing under the Platinum X label from RLD Distribution, won UNSUNG SWORDSMAN for the second time in 3 years at the 22nd Annual XRCO Awards held at The Century Club, Century City, CA, April 20, 2006. He is smiling for both having received the award, of course, and for being surrounded by two of the lovely talent who appear in his wildly popular “50 To 1” series; Katalina Linda is on his right and Ryaan Reynolds at his left. Brandon was one of the original Owner/Director/Performers who started with the opening of Platinum X, in fact lead off with the number 1 release called “I Love It Rough” setting the stage for Platinum X’s reputation as a high quality, edgy, strokable adult gonzo movie producer.
Next, it was announced that for BEST ON SCREEN COUPLE, the winners were PENNY FLAME AND HERSCHAL SAVAGE, from Red Light District Films’ DARKSIDE. This was RLD Films’ very first feature length movie and has been a consistent award winning movie as well as the fantastic pair of performers named here. What a terrific and steamy couple and scene deserving recognition and awards.
Near the end of the glitzy, well attended XRCO Awards ceremony, was the award for MALE PERFORMER OF THE YEAR, and Red Light District’s 2005 Owner/Director/Performer, MANUEL FERRARA won his third such recognition since the first of the year. Manuel, like Brandon, was with Platinum X as one of it’s start-up Owner/Performer/Directors, then moved to the Parent Company, Red Light District where he has been recognized as Male Performer of the Year or Best Foreign Male Performer of the Year Annually every year the past 3 straight years.
The night was capped off with all the Hall of Fame Inductees, and RLD Distribution is equally proud to announce our newest acquisition for exclusive distribution responsibilities, MICHAEL NINN, Owner/Director of his renown NINN WORX, was inducted under the category of “FILM PIONEER”. Multi-Award winning Michael Ninn has been long known as one of the industry’s most artistically acclaimed directors, and for having absolutely the most consistently beautiful, hot, sexy female performers in all his movies.
We are also proud to send a special congratulations to KYLIE IRELAND who was also inducted in the Hall of Fame under “ACTRESSES”, and has performed in and directed many titles under Jewel De’Nyle Productions over the past several years, also releasing from Platinum X through RLD Distribution. It is hard to believe this stunning redhead in her long flowing black gown is old enough to have been in the adult industry for over 12 years and still going strong!
