Los Angeles, CA – Wicked Pictures is proud to announce that it has signed 2005 AVN Award winner David Stanley to an exclusive contract to write and direct for the company.
Prior to winning AVN’s Best Director (Video) award, this Minneapolis native had already established himself as a pivotal member of the adult film scene, making a name for himself as a talented visual artist who’d turned a love of the independent film scene of the Nineties into a successful career as an adult filmmaker. Although influenced by the mainstream, the director is quick to point out that he made a very deliberate choice to work in adult entertainment, asserting, “if you have a tremendous ambition to say something healthy and provocative about sexuality, this is the best place to be.”
David Stanley brings a unique vision and a genuine love of storytelling to the Wicked family, and embraces the idea of joining the company’s elite group of directors. “This is a very, very exciting move for me. Quite simply, I’m thrilled to be working with a company that loves film making as much as I do!”
Mr. Stanley’s first production for Wicked Pictures is scheduled to go before the cameras in early April.
