Private Brings Red Light District to Erotica Fair UK Private’s Top Stars Promote DVDs, SMS Contests and PrivatePDA
London, UK – November 27, 2002 – After winning ten top prizes at the Venus Awards in Berlin and having its Private Gladiator voted FHM’s “Greatest Porn DVD Ever”, Private continued its streak of success last week by putting in a strong showing at the Erotica Fair UK in London.
Private had plenty planned in order to tantalize fans, including the biggest and most elaborate stand of the fair, which was designed to look like a virtual Red Light District.
Seven of Private’s top stars ” Bettina, Sophie Evans, Jodie Moore, Rita Faltoyano, Michelle Wild, Julia Taylor and Dora Venter ” were in attendance to help promote some of Private’s top DVD titles, including the Private Gladiator and Michael Ninn’s Perfect. Both features have been released as double-DVD Limited Collector’s Editions.
Other events included live chat sessions with the Private Girls, available to Private.com members, and SMS contests where fans won a dinner date with a Private Star. In addition, Jodie Moore and Bettina were featured as the closing guests on the Erotica webcast chatshow, which was broadcast live from the exhibition center (see photo).
Private also previewed what is likely to be one of its most prominent projects of 2003, PrivatePDA, which features full-motion video content contained on a postage stamp-sized chips that consumers can plug into their PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants). Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
