Adult DVD Empire Site Redesign Boosts Sales To Record Highs
Warrendale, PA (December 22, 2004) ” Adult DVD Empire, winner of the 2004 AVN Award for Best Retail Website, is projecting record sales for 2004. After undergoing an entire site overhaul, traffic and sales increased and have remained strong throughout the fourth quarter.
“This steady increase in business is a direct result of our edits to the site, we launched the new look in September and have had record month after record month since,” said Jeff Rix, Founder of Adult DVD Empire. “Our new design wasn’t just a new look, it was a reorganization of all our product offerings so every option was clearly presented to each customer, and our customers responded,” Rix finished
“We have been out of control these last few months,” added Mike Barry, Director of Adult Operations at Adult DVD Empire. “Since September, we’ve had a 20% overall increase in sales, and more specifically, our Video on Demand (VOD) and Adult DVD Rental sales have increased by almost 35%. The increase in rental and VOD is a direct result of the site redesign. One of the main goals of our September overhaul was to draw a lot of attention to Rental and VOD, our newer product offerings, and clearly it worked.”
Not only have sales increased to record highs, other site metrics are through the roof. “There was a significant spike in site traffic with all of the buzz surrounding our redesign,” said JT Smith Director of Marketing for Adult DVD Empire. “And that’s really where it starts. An increase in traffic led to 3 consecutive months of record high account creations, just over a 100% increase, per month compared to the average month in 2004”
