He was 25 when he made his first adult entertainment movie. ³”Coverstory in Belgium²” sold up to 3.800 pieces in a rush. A great succes in Belgium. Back then, Dennis allready wore black, and drank liters of black coffee out of black cups. The little guy with the trendy glasses knew what he wanted very well : to make porn acceptable and discussable on a high level. A real challenge that took almost 5 years of Dennis¹ life to fight for it.
It was 1999 and the “babes-boom” was going on, then the men’s magazines and television voyeurism, like ³Big Brother² and ²Bloot en Medogenloos², were all over the air. ³Bloot en Medogenloos² is a series, broadcasted on national television in 2000, that showed the out and about of Dennis Black Magic, for 6 weeks. Every episode lastes 40 minutes. This changed the point of view on porn for the flanders already, in a positive way.
Also in 2000, he made the first flemish “pirelli” calendar, with nobody less then Miss Belgium Tanja Dexters, posing nude in classful poses. Black Magic Media Productions published nude calendars with famous, well known Flemish models and TV- hosts like Tanja “Miss Belgium” Dexters, “Milk Inc” singer Ann Vervoort and TMF-VJ Inge Moerenhout. Classy, styleful artistic nude was the trademark.
Almost every known, or partial known Belgian woman was showing off on the the cover of ³Cover Magazine², which he founded in 2001. Pascale Bal, Martine Jonckheere and Eva Pauwels, who just divorced comedian Jacques Vermeire and got a set of new breasts which she wanted to show off. Dennis Black Magic could talk them all into posing nude, and became the most famous bringer of Famous Nudes. Mainstream-magazines like P-magazine and Ché magazine followed him on foot. It looks like no Belgian celebrity got away from posing nude. Men¹s magazine Maxim Belgium published a lot of Dennis¹ pictures from nude celebraties. A trend created by Dennis Black Magic.
Only “Mediamadam” Deborah Ostrega dared to face the challenge of making a guest appearance in one of Dennis’ adult movies. The legendary top-movie “54, The legend” ( pict. 54,the legend ) with worldstars like Rita Faltoyano, Philipe Dean, Sandy Style and more, that came on the market in 2003. In between the actors in action, she sang “Pussy” the hit song by Lords of Acid. ,,Dennis Black Magic arranged some female strippers for the Belgian premiere of Lords of Acid.” Singer Ostrega may be used to some fake sex on stage, but preforming in a real XXX-movie needed some getting used to. ,,I don’t like porn”, she confessed after the shooting. ,,But eventually we had a great laugh!”
