Top Guns Challenge Wrapping Up

Top Guns Tournament Challenge Down to the Wire

With all but one game played and the 2011 NCAA Tournament all but over, the Top Guns Tournament Challenge is 24 hours from crowning a winner. In fact, the numbers stack up so that no matter who wins tomorrow night’s Bulter/U Conn game, we have our winner.

This year’s Tournament Challenge was sponsored by Digital Playground with “Top Guns” prizes including an autographed copy of the white hot his movie. The grand prize winner is already known, but some other fantastic prizes are up for grabs.

This year’s insane bracket-busting has made the final weekend of the tournament a real challenge. Of the 25 entries, only 1, done by current leader “USC CPA” has even one of the final two listed. He has UConn as the ultimate winner, making him the only one to pick the possible champs. (None of us picked Butler) In addition to being the only entry to possibly pick the winner, his entry also includes a dead on perfect region correctly picking all 15 games in the southeast region. Before the final game, USC CPA’s bracket scores in the 98.5th percentile of all ESPN entries.

Winners will receive prizes that will include copies of “Top Guns”, movie posters, signed memorabilia and the grand prize package.

Final winners will be announced tomorrow after the tournament though we are all just chasing USC CPA this year.

NOTE: In addition to the fun, bragging rights and prizes, I have added a little something to this year’s Tournament Challenge. All of the Digital Playground banners (Like the one Below) on the “Top Guns” Challenge pages, press releases and related stories will have special affiliate codes. Any sign ups that we get during the period of the contest will directly result in a $10 donation to the Red Cross’ relief efforts in Japan
