Once you reached the Edge, you don’t have many choices of where else to go.
EdgeXD is a site with a great polished look and numerous options for personalization for whatever your tastes or preferences are.
The front page of site gives you a rotating toolbar for access to suggestions on the individual channels and a splashy banner of what is new to the site, all featuring the latest and the greatest for that day. At the top are options for My Stash, Lounge, Games and Channel. All useful for creating your own personal Edge. And of course the obvious search engine. As of today (1/19/10), there are 2367 videos and 994 galleries.
MY STASH-This is where the Edge allows you to create your own personal booty-possible pun intended. This is the area to store favorites. I did find this section slightly misplaced though since in order to accumulate your stash you have to work your way through the other sections of your site to determine what you like and then place it in your stash. Once you have it in there, you can manipulate it or yourself as you wish.
THE LOUNGE-Almost like its real world counterpart, this is where the action is on the Edge. This section allows you to access different sections and peruse Edge’s library of video clips and photo galleries as well as articles on everything from adult through mainstream pop culture. This is where you can also shop the Black Market. This is an area that I really liked as it gives you a shot at a lot of really awesome schwag for fairly reasonable prices all in one place.
GAMES-How can you go to the Edge without having any fun. This is Edge’s Video Arcade. A lot of old favorites here with an adult slant.
And finally,
CHANNELS-While there are some preloads in the section here is another place where you can make the Edge your own. The channels are where you can let your fetish flag fly. You can browse them to see what turns you on or what turns other members on from their shared channels. These channels are created through items placed in your stash.
Overall, I would say I enjoyed my time on the Edge. The downloading time was fairly quick with options in selections and viewing. I also like how the videos were tabbed should you not wish to sit through an entire scene you can go directly to a specific point or act.
I will say I was slightly disappointed in the some of the descriptions. I found of a couple of clips where I though the talent was really hot and I would like to see more of them but there was nothing to tell me exactly who they were. Conversely, I found some classic clips of two of my favorite actress, Stormy and Kimberly Kane, but couldn’t be sure that weren’t more footage of them available on the site. I think this is just a result of trying to add so much content on the site that detail may be sacrificed for the sake of quantity.
