LIMELIGHT GIRLS RECEIVES FIRST 2 AVN AWARDS NOMINATIONS

Las Vegas, NV- Limelight Productions was recognized with its first two Adult Video News (AVN) Awards nominations, and six different “Limelight Girls” were honored in performer categories when AVN announced its 2005 nominations Friday.

The “Limelight Girls” DVD series was nominated for “Best Pro-Amateur Series,” while “Limelight Girls 7” received
consideration for “Best Pro-Amateur Release.” Winners will be announced at the 22nd annual AVN Awards Show, Jan. 8, 2005 at the Venetian Hotel.

“We’re very honored to receive these nominations,” said Chris Zeeman, President of Limelight Productions. “Consumers and critics have embraced Limelight Girls for what it is – a genuine look at the newest faces and rising stars in the industry – and we’re grateful for the recognition.”

In just 18 months, the Limelight Girls series has gained worldwide acclaim as “the porn stage for aspiring stars.” Nine volumes have featured a genuine pro-am gonzo style format and showcased a bevy of popular newcomers (including Lilly Thai, Cris Taliana, Destiny St. Claire, Angelica Knight) and rising stars (Alexis Amore, Trinity, Karina, Bianca Pureheart, Rhiannon Bray).

Six former Limelight Girls who have advanced in the industry received individual nominations. Lilly Thai, whose first two adult performances can be seen in Limelight Girls 1 and 3, garnered three nominations. Thai is under consideration for the coveted “Best New Starlet” crown, “Best Tease Performance,” and “Best All-Girl Sex Scene.”

Karina, who appeared as Limelight Girl Monika Star in one of her first scenes, received a nomination for “Best Couples Sex Scene ” Film” for her performance in Vivid Entertainment Group’s “Dual Identity”.

Cris Taliana, a newcomer in Limelight Girls 2 and rising star in Limelight Girls 7, was nominated for “Best Threeway Sex Scene ” Video” while Limelight Girls 8 star Corina Taylor received a nomination for “Most Outrageous Sex Scene.”

Trinity, who can be seen in Limelight Girls 4 just prior to her contract days with Pleasure Productions, was nominated in the “Best Group Sex Scene – Video” category, and Brooke Daze from Limelight Girls 5 was recognized in the “Best Group Sex Scene ” Film” category.
