Metro Interactive Receives 18 Nominations for Upcoming AVN Awards – 11/17/2004

(Chatsworth, Ca)- Metro Interactive is thrilled to have received 18 AVN nominations for the upcoming 22nd annual AVN Awards Show in Las Vegas on Saturday, January 8th, 2005. For information regarding this event, please visit http://www.avnawards.com.

Metro’s imprint lines, FusXion, Badass, and Cal Vista, scored well, with directors Skeeter Kerkove, Pat Myne, Britney Foster, Red Ezra, Martin Cognito receiving nods for their respective work.

Badass Pictures, a brand new imprint from Skeeter Kerkove, was nominated for Best Anal Themed Feature for his labor of love on his groundbreaking release, Sodomy; Law of the Land, which also stands as a contender for the Best Anal Sex Scene. With only a handful of titles released, Badass has already taken home Best New Line from the Venus Awards this year.

Fusxion took home a slew of nominations as well i! n severa l categories, including the Pro-Am category for Early Entries, which is also up for Best Pro-Am series, to Best Anal Themed Feature for Ass Slaves 2 to Best Gonzo Release for Terrible Teens. FusXion also received recognition for Pat Myne is an Assassin, Britney Foster’s acclaimed work Nightmare, which was nominated for 4 awards.

In the feature realm, Cal Vista received nominations for Red Ezra’s outstanding work on The Getaway, which features Metro Contract star Kelly Erikson, for Best Director as well as Best Video Feature. Also Martin Cognito has received nominations for Best Director Foreign Release and Best Foreign Feature for Claudine.

In addition to production and performer nominations, Metro Interactive has been recognized in the Best Box Cover Concept category for Dirrty as well ! as Best Overall Marketing Campaign Company Image for FusXion.
