We have seen our share of celebrity sex movies in the past decade. Some of have sizzled (Paris Hilton) while others fizzled (Chynna). None have been met with as much anticipation and controversy as this one however. The story behind the Jimi Hendrix sex tape is great. A rock memorabilia collector bid on a box of goodies a few years ago. In that box was an old 8mm reel labeled as “black man.” When the collector took a look at the film he found what he believed to be Jimi Hendrix having sex with two women. To authenticate the film, the producers have brought in two groupies who know Jimi exceptionally well. The bulk of this DVD is an documentary-style trip down memory lane with these ladies as they discuss the music scene that brought them in close personal contact with some of rock’s biggest names. It is interesting to watch, but eventually we have to get to the sex. Is it really Jimi? The ladies think so and they would know better than I. I’ve listened to Hendrix a million times, but I can’t say that I have ever even pondered what he might look like naked. It’s a grainy scene of a black man fucking two white women. Nothing special. Not sexually hot and without the celeb factor, no one would care. But, if it is Jimi then add this to the celebrity sex hall of fame. In addition to the Hendrix stuff, we get a bunch of bonus scenes. Lots of Vivid Girl IR on the main disc and then a full set of bonus scenes on the second. That makes this a double threat. It’s good stroke material for the bonus and possibly historic sex from one of rock’s true legends. I’ll leave it to you decide how authentic it is. I’m going to pop in Jessica Sierra’s DVD. (See, I’ll listen to Jimi, but when comes to people I want to see fuck, I’ll stick with cute American Idol train wrecks.)
When the girls finally sit down to watch the 8mm footage, they are filled with memories and give a blow by blow of the festivities. They are both adamant that the man on the screen is in fact Jimi.
The action finally starts at about 25 minutes. There is no sound with the 8mm footage so we get some pretty decent guitar music to go along with the sex. It is old footage, grainy and looks like it has been through the projector a few dozen times. It features two white women sharing a sizeable black cock. The man’s face is mostly hidden, but we see glimpses of him every now and then. The groupies swear it is Jimi and they would certainly know him better from this angle than any music fan. (Insert your favorite joke about critic’s kissing his ass here.) Looking a lot like an old loop, the threesome work their way through the usual porno positions. He eats them, has the girls stacked up on top of one another and then gives them a ride on the dark rocket.
Bonus: On the main disc there deleted scenes, audio commentary, still gallery and bonus scenes. Watch Savana Samson take on two brothers, Mr. Marcus laying the wood to Monique Alexander and Amber Peach or enjoy Janine taking on both Marcus and Sean Michaels.
Disc Two: Previews, Vivid Products and more Bonus Scenes. Monique Alexander, Lanny Barby, Stefani Morgan, Savana Samson and Cassidey doing boy/girl action. Don’t miss this disc. It’s a nice little best-of DVD and gives us eight really good scenes in addition to Jimi.
