This review has to start out with a warning. It is not your typical porn flick. It is not even your typical rough sex porn flick. Hell, it’s not even your typical porn/bondage hybrid flick. This is Mike Ramone’s hard bondage/hard sex flick and it is not for everyone. It combines hard bondage with hard core sex in a way that is not normally seen. That’s bound to spark your interest on some level. (Or have the exact opposite effect.) Because I’m basically sexually neutral on bondage I’m still interested in seeing the sex. After all, I’ve been waiting a while to see Moxxie Maddron get dirty in a new scene. She’s a very cool lady who happens to be hot in every scene I’ve seen her do. Can she take the serious beating that Ramone and company have in store for her? Also of note is the return of Monique. This nasty young creature was always one of the hottest fucks in porn. She could be aggressive as any guy so we will have to watch and see what she does this time out. One of the basic rules of shooting good porn is to shoot what turns you on. This movie should be in Mike Ramone’s wheelhouse and he has the cast to pull it off. Let’s see what he does.

Monique & Master Tom Moore

As a runaway slave Monique must be punished. (You can almost feel people cringe already.) She is cuffed to a cross with her legs in a spreader bar, her nipples clamped and chained and her spectacular ass presented for a severe whipping. This is the genuine article, but there is still some spunk in Monique. She actually talks back to Tom even as he spanks her ass and works his fingers into her holes. The camerawork at this point is really shaky. At times it appears to be an attempt at fluid movement, but mostly it’s just jarring and often focused on things other than the action. It’s a single-camera shoot and it shows. Perhaps this is the look Ramone was going for. It does sort of add to the idea that we’re watching something illicit and underground rather than your basic polished porn flick. When it comes time to suck cock, Monique proves her worth first by fisting her mouth. The camera moves in really close which adds to the mood, but always cuts down on the viewing angle too much. To make matters worse, there is a lot of under the chin footage that just takes everything off of the table. The action moves from cock sucking to ass licking and we still have the same issues. It can’t be easy to capture a scene with such frantic energy, especially when it doesn’t follow the stereotypical porn formula, but we rarely get more than five seconds of anything without a camera movement of some kind. Since we can’t be sure if this was the look Ramone was going for, let’s just move on and cover the rest of the action. They move to anal and Monique turns into a screaming sex kitten, kicking her legs and proving that she can take anything that any man can dish out. The energy here is fantastic. We loose something because the one camera set up really limits the coverage. I suppose it adds to the raw nature of the sex, but there is a trade off. He finishes off with a huge load on her face that he wipes up with handle of his whip. Like a good slave, Monique cleans off the handle and his cock.

Adrianna Nicole & Jack Lawrence

They make a big deal about the fact that Jack is a former cop. He’s got a fetish uniform on as he gives dirty blonde Adriana an attitude adjustment. I really like Moxxie so always look forward to checking out what she has in store for us. Michelle and Tom have leather masks on and are busy wrestling Moxxie to the ground. Now would be the perfect time to do a refresher course on my grading system. The overall rating is completely subjective. It’s entirely based on my own personal enjoyment of the movie. So if you look at a C+ and think it’s low, keep in mind that the things this movie does best are things that I don’t generally look for. Given that I still rate it as above average I think that says a lot about the overall project. If you like bondage and S&M flavored sex, then add as many grade points as you like.

This is without question, one of the most interesting combinations for bondage and sex that I have ever seen. There is a genuine heat from each scene that is impossible to miss. If you happen to be into the specific fetish material on display, then amplify the praise ten-fold. The strength of this movie is the energy. Ramone has carefully cast this movie and just lets his performers go. You don’t have to love S&M or bondage to see that this really helps the flow. It makes the energy genuine and it is hard to miss the obvious sexual heat. Of course that energy leads to the movie’s biggest problem. Shooting sex that is this intense is very tricky. With only one camera to capture the action, things can get dicey. We see that come into play on more than one occasion. With nothing to cut away to, the camera work often looks shaky and gets in the way too often. There are times when it adds to the gritty, raw feel, but I can’t help thinking that a second camera for the occasional cut away would keep the integrity and intensity while smoothing out the rough spots. Sexually there was a real connection in each scene. Monique is perfect for this movie. She eggs the master on, takes everything he’s got and gives us a scene that is so intense that it transcends the genre. You definitely don’t have to love hard bondage to find her opener totally strokeable. Moxxie takes a serious rough fucking and quite a beating, but comes out looking like a champ. If you’re into this sort of activity, then Lord & Master is a must-see. Even if you aren’t predisposed to enjoy bondage and S&M fun, you might want to give it a look just to see how this stuff can be shot with hard core.
