Pure Play Media To Resume Private’s Distribution Oct. 11th & Hires Marcelle LeBlanc For Sales

Thursday, October 7th, 2004 (Chatsworth, CA): On Monday, October 4th, Pure Play Media Inc. began their official relationship with Private Media Group that will see Pure Play distributing Private product in North America, while Private will distribute Pure Play’s holdings in Europe. Currently, Private’s product is being moved to Pure Play’s warehouse and their offices will be leased out. As for Private’s employees, many have chosen to continue their employment at Pure Play’s Chatsworth offices.

“We wanted to let everyone know that we will resume shipments of already released product Monday, October 11th, and all orders made over the last week will be fulfilled,” says Pure Play Media CEO Richard Arnold. “We’re very thankful that we’ve been able to retain most of the people who worked with Private, as they’ve been incredibly important to the success of Private in the past, and have been very helpful in terms of making this transition period easier to deal with than expected. We’d like to thank everyone for their cooperation and understanding as we get everything settled.”

Additionally, Private’s new releases will start shipping on Monday, October 25th.

“One thing we’re greatly looking forward to is the release of the Millionaire collector’s edition,”
says National Sales Manager Drew Dixon. “It definitely keeps in the vein that Private is known for, which is incredible high-end productions with gorgeous girls, but everything about this DVD is amazing. The production, the storyline, the scenes… nobody will be disappointed.”

In addition to much of the Private staff joining Pure Play, Marcelle LeBlanc has signed on with the company to head up sales for Private’s titles.

“We’re very pleased to have Marcelle on board with us,” Dixon says. “She has many years of experience in the industry and fits in well with the rest of our crew, so I’m certain our customers will come to appreciate her professionalism and expertise as they get to know her.”
